Hi! I'm Chingis Zwecker E.

I'm a product engineer based in Karlsruhe. I build web and iOS applications and connect application architecture, data pipelines, AI features and release workflows.

I work as a Python Developer for Backend & Data Engineering at Stiftung Kirchliches Rechenzentrum Südwestdeutschland. My work also includes ongoing development and technical consulting for denk.pause, an app for teachers, alongside commerce integrations and independent software projects.

Fueled by coffee and existential questions about semicolons, I develop web solutions that make users question reality less.

My path was not a straight line: jurisprudence, cultural business studies, and several years of caring for my father alongside work — which taught me more about responsibility, prioritization, and staying calm under pressure than any tutorial ever could.

I thrive in teams where we philosophize about tabs vs. spaces while making the internet a bit more interesting.

    Python Developer - Backend & Data Engineering

    • Design, development and maintenance of backend services and APIs with Python and FastAPI
    • Development and ongoing maintenance of business-critical ETL processes and data pipelines
    • Profiling Python workflows and optimizing SQL queries and database integration with Oracle and PostgreSQL
    • Testing and containerizing applications with Docker, working with DevOps on deployment and operation in GitLab and Nomad
    • Second- and third-level technical support and service request coordination through Jira and ServiceNow
    • Technical design of data solutions and structured documentation in the internal wiki and Jira
